  • Tuesday 26th February
    Iron Age and Roman Dorset” –  Chris Copston: Curator @ The Keep Military Museum Dorchester.  A 1930’s Perspective- the Excavations of Sir Mortimer Wheeler at Maiden Castle and Col. C.D.Drew at Colliton Park
  • Tuesday 19th March
    Georgian Society in Bath and Lyme ” –  Amy Frost: Senior Curator, Bath Preservation Trust.  Taking the waters, sitting for a portrait and promenading were all part of the daily routine when the elite of Georgian society visited Spa resorts such as Lyme Regis or Bath. This talk will look at what drew people to a spa, the rules that they had to follow once there, and the reality behind the image of polite society

All welcome. Meetings start at 2.30pm at the Woodmead Hall.
Admission to talks is free for Lyme Regis Society members
and £3.00 for visitors. Refreshments included.
